Who We Are

It started with Nolan and a fellow member named Luke. Nolan took the idea and ran with it, drafting the Governing Charter, and on April 13th, 2026, he brought it to his lunch table at school — his friends, the people who would go on to become Solmeria's founding Council. What started as a lunchtime conversation became something real. The Charter was signed that day, and at our first Council meeting, we elected Nolan as Solmeria's first President. None of us really knew what we were getting into, but here we are.

How We're Governed

From April 13th, 2026, to May 14th, 2026, we were a republic and didn't get much done. On May 14th, 2026, things changed. We signed the Royal Charter, and just like that, Solmeria became a Monarchy. It wasn't without some back-and-forth — the Council had thoughts — but we worked it out. Today, Solmeria is led by an Absolute Monarch, with the Royal Advisory Council holding law-making powers. The Council passes laws by simple majority to the Monarch for approval; the Monarch can veto, and the Council can push back with a supermajority override. It works. On May 18th, 2026, I, Nolan Hartigan, the Monarch of Solmeria, signed the Constitution of the Kingdom of Solmeria which made what was known as the Council the Parliament with legislative powers in the Constitution, a Supreme Court, and a Council of Ministers, which is under the Monarch.
