Around early March 2026, about a month before Solmeria officially came into existence, I had an idea: why not form our own nation? I began drafting a constitution under the name Solmere, but on March 31st, 2026, I renamed it the Republic of Solmere. Over time, the name evolved into Solmeria, governed by the Governing Charter — a document that established a republic with a ruling Council. The Charter, however, had a flaw: it concentrated most authority in the Council, and since members only saw one another at school, very little ever got done. To address this, I drafted the Royal Charter, which established a Monarchy with considerably stronger executive authority. When the Council reviewed it the day before signing, they pushed back. To secure their signatures, I agreed to grant them additional powers — a compromise formalized in the Power Resolution Accords. The Monarch on 2026-05-28 signed the Constitution, making the Council now the Parliament have constitutional legislative power, a Supreme Court, and a Council of Ministers.
